Hi, I’m Shelly,

and I’ve spent decades helping others grow — first as a school counselor, then as a culinary instructor, and now as the founder of Shelly’s Bakery Barn.

After graduating from culinary school (Baking & Pastry) and teaching cooking professionally, I created this online kitchen to bring people joy, confidence, and a little sugar-dusted peace.

My goal is simple:
To teach baking in a way that feels easy, welcoming, and fun — no matter your skill level.

I’ve raised daughters, earned multiple graduate degrees, and taught in classrooms for years. I know how to meet you where you are and guide you step by step. Whether you're joining a virtual class, ordering a cake, or just browsing, you're always welcome here.
